The goal of Faith Formation is to provide for the spiritual growth of every member of the Parish: to model the love of Jesus for our children, provide loving care for infants and toddlers, grow the faith of youth and adults and welcome newcomers to the church and to the faith. Ann Dolbier is the program chair, 303-752-2706 aldolbier@comcast.net
This group meets Sundays in the Education Room between the services (9:10-9:50) to discuss the lectionary of that Sunday. The goal of the attendees is to learn more about the scriptures, build community and provide a place where all can share their faith journeys openly. Wayne Stein is the leader.
A number of opportunities are available for participants to study. Goals of the participants are to better understand the bible, learn from and teach one another, learn about Christianity and how it became a major religion of the world and to build the community of faith. These include daytime and evening classes. Class topics and meeting times are arranged to meet the needs of the classes. Contact Ann Dolbier, 303-752-2706 aldolbier@comcast.net, for information.
Church School is provided between the services on Sunday in St Nicholas House from (9:00 to 10:00 a.m.) Children from preschool age through 5th grade are engaged with very enthusiastic teachers who are using the Episcopal Church Curriculum. Contact Marsha Botts through the church office for more information.
The church provides pamphlets, booklets and guides, about the
Episcopal Church, including Care Notes and Forward Day by Day, on topics that
help answer our questions and assist us in our spiritual journey. They are found
in the Narthex near the restrooms.
Our youth very actively participate in the life of the parish as acolytes, readers, musicians and ushers.
