are of great relevance to the Episcopal Church today.
Church School
The Church School program at St. Stephen's consists of
school-year classes, instruction, discussion groups and Bible studies. We
offer Bible/Book of Common Prayer/Hymnal based instruction by committed
volunteers for young people from preschool through fifth grade. These
classes are held every Sunday morning during the school year (September through
May) between the services. Need more information? Drop us an
email or give us a call
at 303-364-3186.
Baptism Instruction
Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit
into Christ's Body, the Church. Baptism is usually administered during
Sunday services. A short instruction is required.
Confirmation Instruction
This is now known as RCIA, or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
Instruction prepares confirmation students by helping them understand the
vows that were made at their Baptism, as well as to explore the Christian
faith, the Episcopal Church doctrine and tradition, and then to come to a
mature decision to live out their Baptismal covenant and be confirmed.
It is a faith journey, a dialog among people, a sharing of the Good News,
and a sacramental process. Instruction is available to those age 16
and older. The next class will be forming in February, 2008.
Education for Ministry
This is a four-year, comprehensive program prepared by the University of the
